I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ; N" x8 y! @7 h& l' w# I & d+ i* J$ U4 l( f1 X. hand I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here ' T+ q( ?8 ^ O1 C" R
